First Aid Kit for Ukraine

First Aid Kits for Ukraine

We have recently contacted St. Michael Catholic Church in Wethersfield, CT, and asked if we could help them with any donation. St. Michael is a Ukrainian congregation and has been sending support whether first aid kits or financial donation. As our church already supports the financial donation through UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Disaster Relief, we inquired about the first aid kits. They gave us a list of the items for the first aid kits.

We currently have a confirmation class with four youth. Recently, our class leaders asked them if they wanted to add any more items to the kit. In considering that there are many Ukrainians who are relocating, they also came up with a few more items. We value their thoughts and empower them in our effort to help our neighbors in crisis.

This Saturday (April 16) we will collect these donations right in front of our church (53 Grove St. Putnam, CT 06260) from 2 pm to 6 pm. Please stop by and say hi to us.
