Even the earliest disciples knew that to be truly faithful, they had to be connected with one another in community. True faith, authentic community, and real relationships make a difference in our lives and in the lives of the world around us. There are multiple opportunities to be involved in the small group life of the church, inviting you to connect with others and to grow in your faith.
Adult Sunday School
The adult Sunday school class meets every Sunday at 9:30 under the leadership of Pastor Bob Jon. This class meets in the Multi-Purpose Room. All are welcome!
Starting March 5th we will embark on a Lenten study – Eric Elenes, Gifts of the Dark Wood
Ella Grasso Ladies
This group of Seniors meets on Tuesdays from 2-4 pm at the Ella Grasso Senior Housing Complex. They began in 2016 with a 4 week Advent Bible study. The group enjoyed it so much they decided to continue. Currently they are engaged in a study of Women of the New Testament. “We share stories from our lives; our spiritual journey, we laugh, and sometimes we cry”
From Monica Boudreau, group leader: “This group has been present in the minds of me, Sara and Martha for about 2 years, only coming to fruition in December after my 91 year old Mother went to live with Jesus on April 19, 2016. This group of loving, caring and wise women have helped with my grief, simply by their presence. They have filled the void left by my Mom through Christmas and continue to do so. I am thankful for the privilege to be in the company of these wise and loving ladies each week. Blessings, Monica”
