Our worship experience sends us out into a hurting world to be instruments of God’s hope, healing, peace and justice. This is how we put those worship words into action.
Through the Community Café we feed people physically and spiritually by extending the love of God in fellowship and food to everyone who comes for the free meal.
We partner with Interfaith Human Services of Putnam by providing space, volunteer hours and donations of food, clothing, diapers and money.
For more than 75 years we have chartered and provided operational space for both Boy Scout Troop 25 and Cub Pack 25.
Monthly “Soup On Sunday” or “S.O.S.” luncheons provide financial support for our Relay for Life Team along with time for fellowship.
Since 1999 years we have had a Sister Church relationship with the people of San Rafael del Sur, Nicaragua.
The consistent generosity of the Living Faith UMC community has provided us an opportunity to support disaster relief around the world, educational scholarships for young people at the Red Bird Mission in Kentucky, Africa University in Zimbabwe, Charles Wesley School in San Rafael del Sur, Nicaragua, and McCurdy School in New Mexico, and pastoral care at Day Kimball Hospital.
